are well known and popular. If you are a frequent user of vegetables in liquid form, consider purchasing a juicer. You can choose between different methods:
- Hot juicing
- Cold juicing
- Juicing vegetables
This method of processing vegetables is many years old. Perhaps you remember the large kettle on Grandma's stove from which she tapped delicious fruit or vegetable juices from a hose.
Hot or steam juicing
With this old method, hot steam dissolves the fruit or fruit. open the vegetables until the juice comes out. The juice obtained can be tapped into easily closable bottles via a hose with a clamp. The heat in the kettle preserves the juice, so it can be kept for a long time. However, it destroys most of the vitamins and nutrients.
Cold juicing
Here you process raw fruit or vegetables, nutrients and vitamins are retained. There are two options for cold juicing:
Juicing with the centrifuge
Here the fruit or vegetables are first chopped up with a coarse or fine rotating grater. The rapid rotation removes the juice. This is pressed through a sieve insert and separated from the solid components. The juice flows through a spout into a collecting container. The solid residues are put into a separate container as pomace.
Cold juicing requires little effort. However, some of the nutrients are lost when rubbing and spinning.
Juicing with the electric juicer
With an electric juicer you extract the juice in a particularly gentle way. The fruit or vegetables are first broken into small pieces via a “snail” and then squeezed out. Juice and product residues go into two separate containers.
The juicer works slowly and relatively quietly. The juice obtained contains almost all nutrients and vitamins, and it can be stored in the refrigerator for about a day without any loss of quality.
