What should you watch out for when planting?
Place the young sycamore maple with the root ball, including the container or ball cloth, in water before working on the planting pit. How to proceed:
- Dig a pit with twice the volume of the root ball
- Mix one third of the excavated material with ripe compost and a few handfuls of horn shavings
- Remove the container, leave the ball of the towel on the root ball for the time being
- Position the sycamore in the middle of the planting hole
- Simply open the ball of the towel because it will decompose by itself
- Drive a support post into the ground next to the root system
It is important to note that the previous planting depth of the tree is retained. Pour the soil-compost mixture into the pit, step on the substrate and water thoroughly. Support pile and Tree trunk please connect with a wide, weatherproof ribbon in the form of an 8. Water abundantly daily for the first 14 days.
