Propagate privet using cuttings
The easiest way to make a privet multiply, is cutting cuttings. Young shoots that you can use for this are abundant in spring and summer.

Other ways to grow privet plants yourself are cuttings and sinkers.
The best time to cut cuttings
In the spring cut a privet usually significantly back. Then there will be a lot of cuttings that you can use as cuttings.

When can you transplant cuttings?
