Plan the border planting

Before you go to the gardening store to get plants for your border, take some time to plan your border planting. To do this, proceed as follows:

• Measure the length and width of your discounts and write down the dimensions.
• Observe the course of the sun and note how much sun the discounts get and whether there are parts that are less illuminated.
• Then sketch out your discounts on a piece of paper.
• Think about how you want to delimit your discounts and mark the width of the delimitation. (The options can be found in the next point.)

Define the discounts

One of the most important design elements that you should consider before planting the borders is the demarcation. The rock garden

Rock gardens are easy to care for and easy to create.
