Performance characteristics

Guide values: a cutting width of 60 centimeters for angled lawns, 100 centimeters upwards for largely free areas.
Cutting height: If you have to vary the cutting height more often due to different green areas, the lawn mower should offer as broad a range as possible. For most lawns, a height between three and five centimeters is ideal.
Ejection direction: Side discharge or rear discharge, that is the question - one that is easy to answer. The side discharge is only suitable if you want to use the riding lawn mower as a mulching mower. Otherwise you should prefer the rear discharge, in which the cut grass ends up in the grass catcher.
Tank volume: The larger the tank, the less often you need to refill gasoline. In the case of somewhat remote or particularly large green areas, around seven liters make perfect sense. Otherwise, you will certainly get along well with a significantly smaller tank.
Grass catcher (capacity): The capacity of the grass catcher determines how much grass the lawn mower can collect at one time and how often you have to empty the container. A large collecting basket from 200 liters is recommended if you have a considerable lawn area to deal with and the Lawn care want to interrupt as seldom as possible. A smaller grass catcher is usually sufficient for smaller garden areas.
Noise level: Do not be under any illusions, a lawn mower is always loud. However, every decibel less can noticeably reduce noise pollution. Most models have a noise level between 80 and 100 decibels.
