Wall planting with flowers
If you place plants in the cracks in the wall, they must be extremely resistant. Not only is the amount of substrate very limited here, the plants also have to cope with wind, heat and cold. However, there are survivors who prefer precisely these conditions:

Carpet myrtle aster | This plant is extremely drought-resistant and is therefore also suitable for south-facing walls. It grows to about a foot tall and blooms white from September to October. |
Carthusian carnation | The name already suggests how frugal this plant is. The purple-red inflorescences up to fifty centimeters high sprout from the compact clumps between June and September. The Karthauser carnation settles on its own and colonizes even the smallest cracks in the wall. |
Spurflowers | In its Mediterranean home, this plant can be found in many crevices and crevices in the rock. It blooms very nicely in red or white. |
Candytuft | This evergreen plant bears white, pink or purple-violet flowers from June to August. the Candytuft forms dense cushions and over time grows over the entire wall. |
How do you plant correctly?

- Since most of the commercially available plants are too big for the narrow cracks in the wall, carefully pot them up and divide them.

Tips
If you do not want to plant the wall directly, you can use climbing plants such as Clematis, Wild Wine, Firethorn or green ivy.
