The book
If you would like to cultivate your garden without chemical mace, you will find a valuable guide in this thick work. Divided into the chapters:
- Basics
- practice
- Biological methods
- Kitchen garden
- Vegetable cultivation on the balcony and terrace
- Ornamental garden
- Garden close to nature
all areas of the ecological gardener are comprehensively and explained. All topics are dealt with in detail and the biological relationships are explained in a way that is easy to understand. The first two chapters already create a deep understanding.
Why does it make sense to pay attention to the crop rotation? Which plants influence each other positively? All of these basic questions are presented in great detail. "Der Biogarten" provides a comprehensive overview in the field of ecological plant protection and shows how you can ward off and control pests in an environmentally conscious manner.
If you do not have your own garden and would like to grow a few vegetables on your balcony or terrace, the new edition of the book also covers this topic comprehensively. The information is supplemented by QR codes with which you can access videos on the Internet.
Although the plant portraits are short, they are sufficient for hobby gardeners. Also positive: The newer editions have been expanded to include a work calendar that provides a monthly overview of the work that has to be done.
Our conclusion: “Der Biogarten” is a very valuable reference work for all gardeners new to gardening. But even experienced hobby gardeners will find numerous tips here.
