Which tools are needed?

The preparation

It is essential to fix with screw clamps so that no gaps remain between the elements. The door is then inserted on most models. Also work very carefully here so that everything closes properly. Only then are the elements screwed to the base plate.

The first row of boards by the log cabin

When you screw the laid-out wooden supports to the first row of planks, it is very important to work precisely. So that all walls are straight, make sure that the frame is at right angles. This can be done easily using a carpenter's square. Corrections can now be made without any problems.

Afterwards, a plank is always attached to the right and left, front and rear and connected with a hammer. Depending on the model, the door is inserted when the second to fourth layer of planks is reached.

Using the plan, you can see where the window must be positioned and at what height it must be set.

The roof

The construction of the house roof is the same for most houses, regardless of the construction method:

• Attach the ridge purlin in the middle.
