Keep hydroponics in hydroponics
Caring for an efeutute is not a big problem. At most, the water supply is a bit more complex, since efeututen can neither tolerate drought nor waterlogging.

If you are growing a hydroponic efeutute, there is little need to worry about watering. Another advantage is that the plant does not grow in soil and therefore the development of root rot is unlikely.
What you need for hydroponics
- Waterproof planter
- Expanded clay(€ 16.36 at Amazon *) or similar
- Water level indicator
- low-lime water
Fill a layer of expanded clay or something similar into the planter. You can anchor the stems or roots of the ivy well in it.
The water level indicator ensures that the plant is always adequately supplied with moisture.
Normal tap water is sufficient for Efeututen. It is only better to use rainwater or aquarium water for watering if the water is very hard.
The right location
People like it light and warm. Therefore, place the hydroponic efeutute in a place where it receives sufficient light. The Efeutute is not very fond of direct sunlight.
The temperatures must not drop below 15 degrees. If they are above 25 degrees, you will need to top up with water more frequently.
Efeututen are poisonous - also the liquid that occasionally drips down from the leaves. Place the plant child and pet safe.
This is how you take care of the Efeututen
In summer the Efeutute needs more water than in winter. Pay attention to the water level indicator.
Fertilize is only required every three to four weeks. Use a liquid fertilizer designed for hydroponics for this.
You can cut the efeutute at any time.
Tips
Efeututen can also be used very well in the Aquarium keep. There they will get enough water if you just let their roots hang in the basin. At the same time, the Efeutute cleans the water and thus ensures better water quality.
