Properties of pine wood
The pine tree can be clearly distinguished from other types of pine, especially in terms of the appearance of the wood. The distinctive red tint, which can also merge into pink, is typical. In general, pine wood is the lightest pine wood. The annual rings stand out clearly. Unfortunately, pine wood is more difficult to work with because it is significantly softer and this particular type of pine produces more resin. In addition, unlike pine, pine wood is not suitable for exterior construction. It is not weather-resistant and is therefore only used for making furniture.
