Why balcony boxes are not suitable for growing
Anyone who comes up with the idea of simply sprinkling dandelion seeds in the balcony box should not be surprised if nothing comes of the cultivation. The plants will likely sprout, but will die soon. The reason: the dandelion needs a deep subsurface. It forms a long and strong tap root.

You should therefore rather plant the dandelion in a deep pot. sow - or in the open field, for example in the front yard or in front of the terrace. If you choose a pot, it should be at least 10 cm in diameter and at least 25 cm deep.
Which location does the dandelion need?

Grow the plant from seeds
Digging up a plant from the wild and putting it in a pot at home is not recommended. It is easier to close the dandelions sow. All you need to do is collect a few of the seeds. The seeds can be sown from March to August.

Tips
Planting the dandelion outdoors should be considered carefully. Once grown and not stopped in its bloom, dandelions spread rapidly and can soon become a plague.
