The system uses its own gateway in the home network, via which you can connect the individual components with each other and with a corresponding app. Only the gateway is directly connected to the electricity, the other modules are equipped with batteries or solar cells.
For example, you can use the app to set watering times and cycles. A water control system that measures soil moisture, temperature and light intensity ensures an optimal water supply. The values can be viewed in the app so that you can adjust the amount of water and the duration of irrigation to the weather conditions.
Does the lawn need to be mowed? In the Smart Garden you can regularly send the robotic lawnmower on tour even when you are on vacation.
Control via app
With some systems, you can have a map shown which areas have already been mowed. The device can also be addressed when you are out and about, for example if you want certain areas of the garden to be mowed in a targeted manner.
Intelligent irrigation systems regularly measure the soil moisture and start irrigation if the value falls below a preset value. You can easily make adjustments yourself using your smartphone, depending on the time of year. Since the collected data is displayed over the course of several days, you can see at any time how the water supply for lawns or beds is doing. Watering with a jug or hose is not possible so precisely tailored to the plants. In addition, the flow rate of fountain and stream pumps can be regulated.
Tips
You can already expand some systems with the garden lighting module and thus set atmospheric lighting accents in your garden as soon as the sun goes down.
