The double prince's apple (syn.: double rabbit head, double nun, double melon apple) is a triploid cross of the prince's apple. This apple variety is particularly popular in orchards or with self-catering and is also suitable for juicing.

  • Ready for harvest from late September to early November
  • Large, elongated fruit, similar to a prince's apple
  • Smooth skin with yellow-red stripes and spots
  • Luscious, fluffy flesh with a fine acidity, but quickly becomes crumbly
  • Suitable for orchards, juice presses and self-catering
  • Endangered apple variety

I studied agricultural science in beautiful Weihenstephan. In addition to gardening (I mainly grow vegetables and herbs), my heart beats especially for the animal world. No matter if dog, guinea pig, hedgehog or bee - everyone should feel comfortable in my garden.
Favorite fruits: watermelons and raspberries
Favorite vegetable: potatoes
