This variety originating from the USA was discovered in 1934. According to tradition, Super Manga was created through a natural mutation. The apple variety has achieved international fame, especially because of its enormous fruits. A fruit weight of around 2 kg can be achieved under good culture conditions with sufficient thinning of the fruit.
