Apple 'Styrian sheep nose': harvest & storage

The Styrian sheep nose is a traditional variety that has been used in Styria since the beginning of the 19th century. Century is known. While the harvest takes place in October, the apples should ideally be stored until December. Only then does the full aroma develop.

  • Classic winter apple (harvest: October, ripe for consumption: December - March)
  • Medium-sized and tall fruits
  • Yellowish, reddish-striped skin
  • Good aroma with a sweet-sour note
