Our peat-free Plantura organic potting soil is ideal for your plants, for example. Give the individual plantlets enough space to spread out, as marigolds grow bushy. A planting distance of about 30 to 40 centimeters should be sufficient.

If you grow the plant from seeds, you should not put them too deep underground. Marian bells are light germinator – that is, the young plants germinate better when the seeds get light. At best, just place the seeds directly on the soil without covering them. However, since the seeds will also dry out faster, it is important that they are kept moist.
