The 'Berner Rose' is a pink, highly aromatic beefsteak tomato. Their thin-skinned, soft fruits measure about five to seven centimeters in diameter and weigh about 200 grams. Its taste is sweet but also spicy with a pleasant acidity. The fruits of the Bernese rose tomato can have different shapes: round, slightly flattened or slightly ribbed. It ripens from the beginning of August and does not produce too many, but delicious fruits.
