Climbing roses: These types of roses are suitable
With climbing roses one speaks either of the actual climbing roses or of rambler roses. Both types can develop meter-long shoots studded with colorful flowers, which transform your garden into a fragrant natural experience along fences or rose arches. But while both share a love of growing tall, there are a number of differences between the species that need to be considered before purchasing a climbing rose. If you want your garden to bloom several times a year, use real climbing roses. Rambler roses are ideal for high house facades or large rose arches, because their particularly elastic shoots like to be between 6 and 10 meters long. The actual climbing roses only manage 3 meters with a lot of effort. The growth here is more compact and the flowers are larger. But the choice of your climbing rose not only has a considerable influence on later growth and flowering time, but also on how the plants have to be cared for later.
