I studied agricultural sciences and am a real village kid. I have a small vegetable garden at home that I tend and tend to, and I love to spend time outside. When I'm not outdoors, I'm passionate about writing. But my love is not only for plants and writing, but also especially for the animal world.
Favorite fruit: currants and raspberries.
Favorite vegetables: salsify, savoy cabbage and potatoes.
We at Plantura love Easter and therefore show you four special ideas for creating extraordinary Easter eggs yourself.
Easter is just around the corner and the most beautiful thing about it is and will always be the Easter egg! Especially coloring the eggs is fun for the whole family. So that you don't always paint the same thing with just paint, we'll show you four unusual ideas for designing your Easter eggs differently. You can easily try these at home.
Decorate eggs with eggshells
As simple as this idea is, the more unusual it is.
- To do this, you should take a white egg and have the shell of a brown one ready. Of course, it also works the other way around if you simply use a brown egg and white shells.
- Then gently break the shell of the brown (or white) egg into small pieces.
- Now take a normal craft glue and carefully glue the fragments to the other white (or brown) egg. Let your creativity run free.
- Then let it dry for about 3 minutes.
- Now you can coat your egg with a clear varnish and let it dry. Et voila! Your personal cracked-shell egg is ready!
Dye eggs with colored tissue paper
- It is best to have a white egg and colored tissue paper of your choice ready.
- The egg is first moistened with a small sponge.
- You can also briefly moisten the tissue paper with water before sticking it onto the egg with the damp sponge. Pick the colors you like the most. There are no limits to your creativity here.
- In the next step, let the tissue paper dry for about 3 minutes.
- Now carefully peel off the paper. Et voila! Your personal tissue paper egg is ready!
The Tie Egg
- Take a white egg, an old white fabric and an old, colorful tie. You're bound to find one in the depths of Grandpa's closet. You will also need a small pot and a vinegar essence.
- Cut open the tie like a cloth and put the egg inside. Make sure your egg is sheathed with the color side of the tie.
- The whole thing is now tied together like a lavender bag with a rubber band.
- In the next step, take the white fabric and cut it so that you can wrap the egg in your bag. The white fabric is then also tied together with a rubber band.
- Now put the bag in a pot. Fill it with water and add a good dash of vinegar essence. Make sure the egg is completely covered.
- Let the whole thing cook for about 5 minutes.
- Carefully remove the sachet, let it cool down and then carefully unwrap your egg. Et voila! Your very personal tie egg is ready!
The Wax Egg
- Grab a white egg and your choice of colorful small candles. We decided to use the leftover birthday candles.
- Light the candle you want to start with and gently drip the wax onto the egg.
- Allow the wax to dry briefly before deciding on the next candle.
- Unleash their creativity and drip as many colors onto your egg as you like. The result will delight you
- At the end you can add a holder for your egg, but of course you don't have to. Et voila! Your very personal wax egg is ready!
We at Plantura wish you a happy Easter and lots of fun trying them out! We'd love for you to show us your artwork!
