How can I protect my columbines from frost?
Cover young or newly transplanted columbines leaves or brushwood. Potted plants should be on the balcony or the terrace in general should always be protected from the cold, as they can easily freeze through. Protect your columbines in the pot with
Fleece, jute or bubble wrap, put them in a sheltered place near a house wall and preferably on some styrofoam or a block of wood, which also protects against the cold.
