How nice it is to hear the murmur of the water, watch the dragonflies and see that the garden is doing well. With fountains, water springs and other natural methods of bringing water into the garden, you can give the garden that certain something. A fountain in the garden quickly becomes the focal point. The splashing is pleasant, but fountains also have a lot to offer visually. They come in many different shapes, made of different materials and in all sizes. Of course, such a fountain has to fit into the appearance of the entire garden, but with the selection that one has today, that is rarely difficult. A garden pond is also something beautiful. With fountains and all sorts of trimmings, it can be spiced up a bit. Gargoyles of all shapes and forms can flank him. Today not even a hippopotamus in the pond is a rarity. Frogs and dragonflies are usually no longer enough. It should be something extraordinary. If you don't want it to be that big, a spring stone or spring well will do. Not much is needed for this and it has space even in the smallest garden. Small water basins and fountains are often used as bird baths. But you have to make sure that they are not too deep and have flat edges. A real fountain in the garden is of course not only visually beautiful, but also practical. You can pump your water up today and don't have to pull it up by the bucketful or crank it. The water can be used as irrigation water. Before you use it as drinking water, you should have the water tested for its ingredients. Find out more about fountains and lots of information about water in the garden on the following pages.
