Single color varieties by color
Classic, subtle, pure and innocent - this is how the white flowering shrub roses look. These include, among others, 'Snow White' with a growth height of up to 120 cm and up to 9 cm large, densely filled flowers, 'Princess of Wales' and 'Artemis' with pure white flowers. Like any other shrub rose, they are good too cut compatible.

Yellow to orange flowering shrub roses bring color to the garden and provide atmospheric accents that spread happiness. Above all, the following varieties should be mentioned here:
- 'Ghislaine de Feligonde': pale yellow
- 'Sahara': golden yellow
- 'Amber Queen': orange, double
- 'Lichtkönigin Lucia': lemon yellow, slightly double, 10 cm in diameter, ADR rose

Two-tone varieties
Two-tone varieties do not appear kitschy and inappropriate in a solitary position, but rather curious and sensational. Appealingly among them are, for example, these specimens:
- 'Freising Dawn': pink to yellow and orange
- 'Bonanza': yellow to red
- 'Mozart': pink and white in the middle
- 'Juliana von Stolberg': white with a pink border
- 'César': creamy yellow to dark pink, later discolouring to pale pink and yellow on the underside

You are less interested in the colors, but are you looking for a great, unforgettable rose fragrance? If so, you should add one or more of the following shrub roses to your gardenplants!
- 'Paula Vapelle': good fragrance, white
- 'Westerland': smells wonderful, copper-colored
- 'Augusta Louise' delicately scented (fruity-sweet), heavily filled, pale pink
- 'Rose de Resht': strong Damascus fragrance, pink, double, pompom-like flowers
- 'Julia Renaissance': intensely fragrant, creamy white, filled
