Daisies in the lawn

In the near-natural garden, daisies have not been considered weeds for a long time, but are instead specifically colonized in the lawn. In this way, the tireless little lovers bring natural colors to a uniform green area. First and foremost, the common daisy (Bellis perennis) has proven its worth thanks to its long flowering time. How to properly sow daisies in the lawn:

• In March / April, place the seeds in places or over a large area on the lawn
• It is not absolutely necessary to cover the light germs
• Optionally, sieve 0.5 cm high with fine sand and water

At constant temperatures of 15 degrees Celsius and higher, the seeds germinate within 1-2 weeks, so that they emerged before the first lawn mower. The first bloom appears in the following spring from March.

Sowing daisies
