Decorate a garden chair in style

There are many options available to you to stylishly decorate a garden chair. Get creative and think about how the chair will best match the style of your garden.

The first thing to consider is what material your garden chair is made of:

• plastic
• wood
• iron
• metal

Plastic chairs can hardly be changed at all because they would be damaged too much. Wooden chairs have the advantage that you have holes in the seat saw and thus can also bring in deeper planters. On the other hand, wood is often not as weather-resistant as other materials.

What should be considered when choosing plants?

Climbers look particularly pretty like sweet peas or morning glories that you drape over the back of the chair. If the garden chair is in a shady location, plants such as ivy or Jelängerjelieber are recommended.

If the garden chair is to be left outside over the winter, choose frost-resistant plants, for example small shrubs. However, winter cover is still necessary. You also need to water the plants occasionally in very dry winters.
