Which grasses and perennials harmonize with each other?

When choosing your grasses and perennials, you should pay particular attention to the height of the plant. Low grasses harmonize very well with perennials that also remain small. You can use feather or blood grass, for example, with asters or Sedum plant combine. The fine blades of grass make the colored flowers glow particularly intensely. You can create special contrasts with individual tall shrubs between low grasses.

If you have decided on straight-growing, stern-looking perennials, then choose fine, perhaps overhanging grasses. They loosen up the bed significantly. Combine different leaf shapes and colors, such as light grasses with dark-leaved perennials or vice versa, that's what you do new bed more delightful. Blue beach grass, white ostrich grass, magellan grass and silver ear grass also feel very comfortable in the sun. But do not put too many different species in one bed, it quickly becomes restless.
