You can do this against snails in your garden
In no case should you put a vessel with beer in your flowerbed. This is so tempting for the snails that they will have to walk long distances and will even come to you from the neighbour's garden, a picnic on the way is not excluded. Put up snail fences as a preventive measure. You can buy these ready-made from specialist retailers or build them yourself. The fences should be dug at least 15 cm into the earth and protrude 10 cm from the ground. At the top the fence has a sharp angled edge that causes the snails to crash when they crawl up there.
