Growing exotic fruits yourself?
In general, most exotic fruits can also be grown very well in our regions. However, it is important that wintering usually takes place indoors, only a few exotic fruits can withstand harsh winters. Exceptions may be bananas, which, covered with brushwood, often sprout again in spring.
If you want to be on the safe side, keep exotic plants in tubs or pots. Avocados in particular are to be thought of. These can be pulled relatively easily from an avocado seed, which is slightly dipped with the bottom in water or stuck directly into the ground. A pretty plant grows quickly from the splitting core, which can reach a considerable height and can be kept very well as a houseplant. However, there is no avocado harvest in plants that have been obtained in this way. On the one hand, the avocado is not self-pollinating; on the other hand, our climatic conditions do not allow fruits to develop. However, if you want to enjoy a very decorative and pretty plant, the cultivation of avocado plants is very good advice.

However, if you want to grow exotic plants that actually bear fruit in the garden, you will now find a wealth of options. So many exotic fruits have meanwhile also been cultivated for our latitudes.
