1. Get seeds
You can get the seeds for the runner beans at the gardening and hardware store or online. A seed bag contains around 80 to 100 seeds. You plan 6-10 seeds per seed.

2. Prepare the bed
You dig up the garden bed in a sunny, sheltered place. To the Fertilize you mix in ripe compost. If the soil temperature is at least 10 degrees Celsius, you can start sowing. The soil should only be moderately moist and should be loosened up again immediately before sowing.
3. Set up climbing aids

5. Care of seedlings and plants
After germination, the runner beans can be piled about 15 cm high. You only need to keep the soil moderately moist to germinate. Sufficient water is important for the plant to grow. The tendrils usually wind themselves around the poles. If not, you can carefully secure it with your hands.
Tips & Tricks
So that the seeds germinate faster, you can put them in water overnight. This softens the hard shell.
