Location depends on type and variety
Adipose hens come from different climates, whereby most of the species are at home in the temperate zones of the northern hemisphere. Some adipose hens can also be found in the subtropical and tropical regions of Africa, Asia or South America. Depending on their origin, certain species tend to prefer damp or rather dry soilsalthough they all share a common preference for sunny locations. However, there are also sedum species that also feel comfortable in partially shaded locations.
