Early varieties of potatoes

Tips for faster growth
Potatoes take about 80 to 100 days from plants until harvest is ready. With a few "tricks" growth can be accelerated.
Pre-heated floor

Shallower furrow depth
To make better use of the sun's heat, new potatoes are planted less deeply. A furrow depth of around 6 to 10 cm is sufficient.
It's harvest time now
the harvest the new potatoes starts in June. Unlike late varieties, harvest when the herb is still in bloom. To check the tires, a potato is carefully dug up. If the peel remains firm when you rub your finger over it, the potato is ripe.

New potatoes are not suitable for storage. That is why only as much is dug up as is used.
