How do you attach labels?

Printable adhesive paper

You can buy printable adhesive paper in the stationery store on which the labels are printed directly. These are then only cut out and glued on.

The classic is wide transparent tape. This holds particularly firmly and also protects the print and the lettering in the damp cellar. However, you can always see the tape.

milk

A simple, quick, sustainable and ecological alternative is milk. To do this, apply a thin layer of milk to the back of the label and stick it onto the cold glass. This option can later be removed without leaving any residue with a little water.

The disadvantage of this solution is its durability. The jam label has no protection against moisture and will unfortunately not last forever. So use it for jams that you want to give away very quickly anyway.
