Palm trees for partially shaded locations

Varieties that prefer these conditions mostly come from sparse forests, where they thrive in the shade of the foliage of larger trees. They should also be placed as bright as possible in the room or garden, but not in the sun. A south or west window or a correspondingly oriented balcony is ideal. In the open field you can put these palms well under trees, as this corresponds absolutely to their location preferences.

Furthermore, a type of palm that is actually not one at all is absolutely frugal: the yucca palm. It does well in both light and full shade.
