Beautiful sedum (Sedum spectabile)

The beautiful sedum plant, up to 45 centimeters high, needs a sunny location with nutrient-rich, moderately moist and well-drained soil. The plant, which is richly covered with pink, star-shaped flowers between July and September, moves in in winter.

Gold sedum (Sedum floriferum)

This is an evergreen, mat-forming species that is about 15 centimeters high and flowers golden yellow in June and July. The absolutely easy-care, very moisture-tolerant perennial prefers a full sun.

Caucasian stonecrop (Sedum spurium)

The Caucasus sedum plant is a mat-forming, evergreen plant that is very suitable as a ground cover. The perennial reaches a maximum height of 10 centimeters, but quickly develops in width. The very vigorous and easy-care plant prefers a sunny location.

Purple sedum (Sedum telephium)

This group-forming perennial that moves in winter is a beautiful and structuring plant for the foreground of sunny perennial beds and borders. The purple-colored leaves are striking.

Most sedum species and varieties are very hardy, however, more sensitive stonecrop are sometimes commercially available. Therefore, always pay attention to the right type when buying!
