From the meaning of the word means morbid something like battered, sick, brittle or even unstable. In a figurative sense, however, it can also mean that something is unnatural and goes beyond good taste.

Morbid roses

When one speaks of morbid roses, it is about rarities or roses with unusual colors. There is no clear definition. Mostly roses are meant that are paler in color, such as lavender, pink or brown, but also those that differ significantly from the classic rose. Sometimes the morbid roses also include varieties with a bizarre flower shape. A classic example of this is the “Viridiflora” variety, the flowers of which can almost be described as shattered. With the term, of course, the subjective feeling is, which variety is called a morbid rose and which is not always different. But perhaps it is precisely this deviation from the applicable norm that makes these roses particularly exciting. The variety of varieties is impressive and yet we have put together for you some rose varieties that we particularly like and are generally referred to as morbid.
