Two dates come into consideration so that sage roots quickly again after transplanting. In early spring, the measure can be easily combined with the Main cut. As an alternative, there is late summer from mid-August to mid-September, because the herbal plant has then stopped growing.

Instructions for a skilful transplanting

On the chosen date, the weather should be dry and the floor not be frozen. Ideally, it had rained a little a few days beforehand so that the soil is soft and easy to work with.
