Depending on how much she likes her living conditions, the following average values per year can be expected for the Stinkesche:
- at least 20 cm
- Max. 50 cm
Strong pushes at a young age
The aforementioned values do not apply equally to every year of life of the stink ash. At a young age there is nothing to be suspected of numerous flowers far and wide. But she has a lot of power that she puts completely into her growth.
That is why it is not uncommon for a young bee tree to look after in the first few years of planting
shoots up to 100 cm annually. However, the older the tree gets, the more its urge to grow decreases. Eventually it will reach its final size of around 10 to 15 m.Promote bushy growth
If there is enough space, the stinky ash does not have to be cut at all, apart from a few maintenance cuts. But it is cut compatible. This makes it possible to use your size to limit and cultivate them as a shrub. This promotes regular Cut dense branches. This way it becomes nice and bushy.
Note:
Instead of planting the stinky ash as a tree or shrub, you can also plant it as part of a living hedge. It then has to be regularly brought into shape with the scissors.
