care

Cat grass has a high water requirement. It also has to be done regularly for three reasons cut back will:

  • A cut promotes the renewed budding.
  • Otherwise, the grass will begin to bloom and turn brown at the ends. In this state it is inedible.
  • In the long run, the stalks become sharp-edged and lead to cuts in the mouth.

In winter you have to bring the grass indoors. No additional fertilizer is required. Cat grass has the ability to absorb nutrients. As a result, your cat may be consuming too many minerals. Incidentally, this also applies to substances from the air. Therefore, only put your cat grass on the balcony if you are not using it for smoking.
