Saxon Switzerland: Sweden holes
This gorge leads up through gorge-like rock lanes over 700 steps and two iron ladders. It got its name during the Thirty Years War, when the farmers in the area fled here with their belongings. You should plan three to four hours for the hike, which requires a bit of stamina. Access to the Sweden Holes is free.

Tips
It gets damp in the gorge even on hot summer days. As a result, the paths are often slippery. It is therefore essential that you wear suitable footwear on your gorge hike. A rain jacket in your luggage doesn't hurt either.
