Which species of Buddleia are hardy?

This applies to almost all varieties of the species mentioned, but only from an age of approx. five years. However, freshly planted and younger specimens need a light one Winter protection. On the other hand, rarer species such as the sphericalBuddleia (Buddleja globosa), the Himalayan Buddleja colvillei and the yellow buddleia (Buddleja x weyeriana). You can safely plant the following hardy in the garden sorts from Buddleja davidii:
