The right time to repot the roses

It is true that potted roses - like any other container rose - can basically at any point in time be repotted, provided the temperature does not drop below zero, but it is advisable to do this in autumn perform. Repotting is always a shock to a plant, and if roses are in full sap it can cause them to leave leaves and shedding flowers - also for the reason that any damaged roots no longer absorb enough water can. In autumn, however, the rose gradually goes into hibernation, so that there is no shock. For the same reason, repotting is also possible in early spring - before the first budding.

Repotting roses - this is how it's done

Roses should be repotted every two to three years, because at this point the original tub is already too small and most of the substrate has been used up. Now put the rose in a new, larger vessel and replace the earth completely

Or Both top and bottom are equally wide - angular and unevenly wide pots will do that for you later Make repotting much more difficult, because the larger they are, the more difficult it is to get the plants out of the container undamaged receive. After repotting water the rose thoroughly!

What to do with very large plants
